Those of you who have not completed your Open Water dives or Advanced dives ....... 2009 Dive Season will be here before we know it. Any questions, call, email me.

Dates availability is on a first come first served basis, so contact me to confirm.

Also, reserve and pickup your rentals from the shop early.

Boat Dives
Some of you have asked about more BOAT dives. As you can see from the schedule, my time to arrange and go on them is limited. My suggestion is for you arrange them yourselves. As you know I use the SeaHawk out of Freeport.
You can call and find out where they are going, spaces available, and if the dive is within your dive expierence and capability.

Start your Training Dives, finish them, also complete your Advanced Course (you know who you are)

Beach 8th Street Dive Site
Dive in Queens? Yes, you can, and yes, there are more things to see than cement blocks with shoes in them! Come on down to 8th Street in Far Rockaway (directions and map) and enjoy a great day of diving.

Contact us if you’re interested in WEEKDAY dives -- be it for Open Water or Advanced Open Certification dives, or just for fun! Beach dates can be individually pre-arranged (besides our regularly scheduled dive dates). Amount of divers is limited, and is first come, first served.

We have the Sandy Hook tide tables available ( adjusted for Beach 8th Street), so you can plan your beach dives, and dive your plan.

The waterway is fished from shore year-round, so pack redundant knives and surgical shears in case of monofilament. Quarter-inch wetsuits or dry suits are recommended year-round. Following a compass heading due north will lead to the safety of shallow water.

We have a rough layout of the bottom available to view.
